Project aim:
Organise training, capacity building and thematic seminars for participating projects and heritage professionals.
Who we worked with:
We were part of the Regional Management and Support Unit, working with the Brussels team and the 12 projects selected in this phase of the programme.
What we did:
We designed and delivered intensive training workshops for architects and cultural heritage professionals on recording and safeguarding intangible cultural heritage, cultural and community mapping, sustainability and communication without mega budgets, and embedding project sustainability. We incorporated hands-on fieldwork as an important element of this training process.
Results:
Participants evaluated capacity building and thematic workshops as highly engaging and effective. See:
